The Serim PINNACLE™ Monitor for Automated Enzymatic Cleaning Process (AEC) monitors the cleaning efficacy of all automated equipment used to clean medical instruments. This test requires an adequate amount of active enzymes to show PASS results and responds to all major factors affecting the cleaning process. A FAIL result indicates a lack of overall enzymatic activity due to low enzyme levels, or a deficiency with the equipment (cycle time, temperature or mechanical action). This test can be use to verify the cleaning process in washer-disinfectors, ultrasonic cleaners and cart washers eliminating the need to purchase multiple verification tests.

Test Range：

After the wash cycle is complete, unhook the holder from the basket or rack and remove the test strip. Ensure the pads are facing up and interpret the results by comparing the color of the larger indicator pad to the smaller internal color standard. PASS: Indicator Pad is lighter in color than the color standard. FAIL: Indicator Pad is similar to or darker in color than the color standard.
