Beta actin is one of the actin isoforms which have been identified in animals. Actins are highly conserved proteins so it is frequently used as internal standard referred to same amount of cells loaded. This anti-beta-actin antibody is developed using a peptide derived from beta-actin of many species including human.

SOURCE:Mice were immunized with a synthetic peptide (DDIAALVVDNGDG) derived from the N-ternimus of human beta-actin.
FORM/STORAGE: 50 ug (0.5 mg/ml affinity purified IgG2b in PBS with 50% glycerol, 1.0 mg/ml BSA and 0.01% sodium azide). Store at -20o C. Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
