d-biotin is a natural vitamin that binds to avidin strongly and irreversibly. This antibody was developed and affinity purified using d-Biotin as antigen. The antibody binds biotin strongly but reversibly. This antibody has been used for direct for direct, competitive ELISA for quantiutatiom of biotin and western blot analysis of the biotinylated antibodies and proteins.
